Beauty Unboxing: November Birchbox 2015 - Skinny Dip x Birchbox

This month Birchbox* teamed up with Skinny Dip in there Squad Goals box for November. This box came in two colours - blue and pink, like the one I received, and purple and blue. I love the design of this box, it's super cute and I can't wait to re-use it!

The first thing that caught my attention was this Lord & Berry clear lip pencil. I'm trying to build my lip pencil collection and love the clear ones like this as they work with all colours. I haven't tried this yet but I've had other products from the brand, so I'm expecting good things from this.

The next thing I pulled out I was very excited to see. It is the Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm. I love these little samples of skin care as they're great to take travelling! I love using oils and balms to remove my makeup so I'm sure this will be a winner.

Birchbox keep surprising me with things I just don't expect to find in there! These are the Thumbs Up designer nail wraps in the design Rosa. It's an accent pack, and contains 5 wraps. I probably won't use these for a long while as I can't paint my nails due to work, but I'll save these for when I have a week off. They are really interesting and I like that it's an accent pack.

Now this next brand I really don't rate. It's the Beauty Protect Beauty Cream for hand & body. I've had a few of their products in previous Birchboxes and to be very honest, I'd tried a lot better products. They all smell very nice and sweet and the packaging is always pretty, but the actual product is never worth raving about in my opinion. This again smells nice but I'm not expecting much. I'll probably use it more as a hand cream on the go or pop it in my bed side table.

Another makeup product in this box (yay!) - this is the Absolution La Creme de Teint. This is skincare and makeup rolled into one. Sort of like a BB cream, but more for correcting skin tone. I'm not really 100% sure what exactly this one does, and I haven't tried it yet either, sorry guys!

The Birchbox site does say this though:
"While we're not the best at doing multiple things at the same time, we love our skincare to be able to do it! Absolution have come up with this multi-tasking lotion that moisturises, corrects, and protects skin all at one! Packed with all the good stuff (we're talking green tea and tamanu oil) this stuff regenerates your skin cells, fights against free radicals, and protects against ageing - all while softening the skin and giving you a little coverage. Even better? It's suitable for all skin types!"

Last but not least is the Number 4 Lumiere d'Hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect. I've had a product in a previous Birchbox from this brand and I loved it! The only thing is it is a little bit pricey! I've yet to use this and, again, I will probably use this for travelling. I am however, very excited to use this as I really like the brand!

I'd seen a few other reviews on this month's Birchbox and people weren't loving it. I, however, am really quite happy with this month's selections! The previous month's haven't been too great in my eyes, but the collection of products, as well as the brands I received this month has really surprised me and I am so excited to try most of these products.

Sign up to Birchbox using this link* and we'll both receive £5 worth of Birchbox points!
